Job Overview: The firm is seeking an experienced and driven Personal Injury Fee Earner to join their reputable team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing personal injury claims, particularly those involving RTAs, employer liability, and public liability. This role involves handling a diverse caseload of both fast track and multi-track claims, including litigated cases, with a focus on delivering high-quality client service and achieving favorable results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury claims, including Road Traffic Accidents, Employer Liability, and Public Liability cases, on both the fast track and multi-track.
  • Litigated Work: Handle all aspects of litigated personal injury cases, including preparing legal documentation, negotiating settlements, and managing correspondence with clients, insurers, and other parties.
  • Client Interaction: Provide expert legal advice and support to clients throughout the claims process, ensuring clear communication and a high standard of client care.
  • Documentation: Prepare and review legal documents, including claim forms, witness statements, and court bundles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Negotiations: Conduct negotiations with opposing parties, insurers, and other stakeholders to secure favorable settlements and resolve claims efficiently.
  • File Management: Maintain and update case files using the firm’s case management system, ensuring all documentation is properly filed and client information is up-to-date.
  • Legal Research: Conduct necessary legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in managing personal injury claims, with a strong understanding of Road Traffic Accidents, Employer Liability, and Public Liability cases. Experience with both fast track and multi-track claims is essential.
  • Skills: Excellent case management skills, with the ability to handle complex litigated work and achieve favorable outcomes for clients. Strong negotiation and communication skills are also required.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
  • Client Focus: A client-centered approach with the ability to provide empathetic and effective support throughout the claims process.
